To accomplish this, we will
- Ensure that all personnel, whether employee, contractor or customer are aware of their delegated HSE responsibilities and are adequately trained to undertake the assigned responsibilities.
- Design and manage our activities to prevent pollution, minimize environmental and health impacts, and provide workplace where hazards and environmental aspects have been fully assessed and appropriately mitigated.
- As a minimum, comply with applicable HSE legislations, regulations and standards.
- Ensure that HSE protection commands equal prominence with other business considerations in the decision making processes.
- Take into account local community expectations and concerns, cultural heritage, short / long term benefits and liabilities.
- Strive for continuous improvement of our HSE performance and measure the progress by setting objectives and targets consistent with the policy.
- Periodically monitor the performance and initiate corrective actions to avoid recurrence of incidents.
