Fibre Reinforced Concrete
The presence of fibres in concrete increases the modulus of rupture, fracture toughness, and impact resistance. This is used in construction methods such as shotcrete and in structures that require increased flexural strength, reduction of shrinkage cracks and capacity against delamination, spalling and fatigue.
GAR provides specific Fibre Reinforced Concrete depending on the application and specification.
GAR has specialized in both Polypropylene and steel fibre reinforced concrete. Fibres of various aspect ratios are incorporated to achieve the desired results.
